Job Description-

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to drive B2B sales of personal care ingredients across the West India region. The role involves managing the complete sales lifecycle, developing new business opportunities, and acting as a technical partner to customers in the cosmetics and personal care industry.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of personal care raw materials, proven success in specialty chemical sales, and the ability to build long-term strategic customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle for personal care ingredients in the assigned West region.
  • Drive revenue growth by developing new customers and expanding business with existing accounts.
  • Achieve regional sales targets while maximizing profitability.
  • Act as a technical consultant to customers, supporting product applications and formulations.
  • Serve as the liaison between customers and internal R&D, supply chain, and supplier teams.
  • Provide timely technical support, resolve customer issues, and ensure high service levels.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, CRM records, and collections.
  • Prepare regular business reports including pipeline status, YTD performance, and market feedback.
  • Participate in customer visits, industry events, and market development activities.
  • Gather and share market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 47 years of experience in B2B sales within personal care, cosmetics, skincare, pharmaceuticals, or specialty chemicals.
  • Strong understanding of raw materials used in personal care and cosmetic formulations.
  • Proven track record in technical sales of complex products.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a customer-focused mind-set.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
  • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and Salesforce (preferred)
