Role Overview
U2opia Mobile is looking for a proactive and target-driven Business Development Specialist to support the growth of our Message Central, P2A. This role is primarily responsible for lead generation, outbound prospecting, and pipeline creation, working closely with the sales team to drive new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, hands-on experience with Sales Navigator and similar prospecting tools, and prior exposure to sales or business development roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach, and cold calling.
- Identify and research potential enterprise customers within the telecom ecosystem.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by converting cold leads into warm opportunities.
- Engage with prospects through structured and personalized communication.
- Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team and ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach, follow-ups, and lead status in CRM systems.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to improve lead quality and outreach strategies.
- Stay updated on TeleVAS offerings, telecom market trends, and competitor landscape.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience in lead generation, inside sales, or business development roles.
- Proven hands-on experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other lead sourcing tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with outbound sales activities.
- Basic understanding of telecom products, CPaaS offering & P2A is preferred.
