Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive with a strong background in industrial automation, particularly within Electrical and Electronics domains. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on executor to drive business growth through market analysis, new venture identification, partnerships, and business vertical expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis:
- Identify new and emerging markets in industrial automation, especially in electrical and electronics segments (solenoids, sensors, valves, etc.).
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify market gaps and growth opportunities.
- Create in-depth industry trend reports to support strategic planning.
Business Development & Expansion:
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with Janatics long-term growth strategies.
- Identify and evaluate new business verticals, product lines, and sectors for diversification.
- Propose and establish joint ventures, strategic partnerships, alliances, and collaborations to enhance reach.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Generate qualified leads through industry networking, trade shows, cold calling, and digital platforms.
- Convert leads into profitable business through tailored presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and industry leaders.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Janatics in industry forums, exhibitions, and conferences.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Support product and service launches with go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams like R&D, Sales, and Product Development to align offerings with market demand.
Reporting & Strategy:
- Regularly report on business development performance, pipeline health, and market opportunities.
- Provide inputs for pricing strategy, brand positioning, and promotional activities.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.E.) preferably in Electrical, Electronics,
Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
MBA in Marketing or Strategic Management will be considered a strong advantage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in business development, preferably in industrial automation or allied industries.
- Proven experience in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical/electronic components such as solenoids, sensors, motors, control valves, automation systems.
- Experience in conducting SWOT analysis, competitor benchmarking, and preparing business cases.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in using CRM tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and business analytics tools.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
