About the Role
We are looking for driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Specialists to join our growing team. This is a pure individual contributor role — you own your pipeline, your relationships, and your targets. You will work within a collaborative team environment, but your success is measured by your own performance and the business you bring in.

What You'll Do
Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in AI consulting and capability development services
Build and manage a healthy, self-sourced sales pipeline — from lead generation to deal closure
Engage C-suite and senior stakeholders at target organizations to understand their AI readiness and strategic needs
Position Ambilio's offerings in AI consulting, workforce capability programs, and advisory services effectively and compellingly
Own end-to-end BD cycles including proposals, presentations, negotiations, and contract closures
Meet and exceed individual revenue targets and business development KPIs
Stay current on AI market trends, competitor landscape, and emerging client needs to sharpen your go-to-market approach
Represent Ambilio at industry events, forums, and networking platforms to build visibility and relationships
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Experience:
- 3–10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Consulting roles
- Demonstrated experience in selling AI consulting services or working within an AI/technology consulting firm
- Hands-on exposure to capability development or learning & development business — selling or delivering workforce upskilling, training programs, or capability-building engagements
- Proven track record of independently owning and closing deals — not just supporting BD
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
You'll Stand Out If You Have:
- Existing relationships with enterprise clients in Bengaluru or key metros
- Experience working in startups or boutique consulting firms where you had to build the market yourself
- Deep understanding of how organizations buy AI transformation services
