  • We are seeking a Business Development & Solutioning(Pre-Sales) Consultant who combines strong consulting orientation with the ability to stitch together integrated, end-to-end solutions across Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, Finance, and Digital/Tech-led transformation.
    You will be the bridge between client needs, domain expertise, and technological possibilities, crafting compelling solution stories that reflect the breadth of Thoucentric's capabilities and drive client confidence.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Pursuits That Matter
  • Own the complete solutioning/presales lifecycle, qualification, solution design, RFP/RFI response, proposal creation, and client presentations.
  • Partner with Sales, Consulting, and Delivery leaders to build differentiated solutions rooted in supply chain excellence, data-driven insights, and digital enablement.
  • Shape High-Impact Solutions
  • Translate multifaceted business challenges into scalable solution architectures spanning data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, cloud platforms, product engineering, and enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, SaaS).
  • Build transformation roadmaps, value frameworks, and business cases that reflect measurable impact.
  • Engage, Influence & Inspire Confidence
  • Facilitate discovery workshops with CXOs, business teams, and technology stakeholders.
  • Deliver crisp, compelling, and insight-rich narratives that simplify complexity and elevate Thoucentric's positioning as a trusted advisor.
  • Create Assets That Scale
  • Develop reusable assets, accelerators, and case stories that strengthen our GTM strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to amplify thought leadership in supply chain, digital transformation, and analytics through campaigns, events, and analyst engagements.
  • Ensure Rigour & Governance
  • Run structured pursuit governance — qualification, solution validation, cost estimation, risk assessment, and leadership approvals.
  • Ensure proposals are feasible, commercially viable, and aligned with Thoucentric's delivery models and client expectations.
  • Build Capability & Community
  • Mentor presales and consulting colleagues in problem structuring, solutioning, storytelling, and executive communication.
  • Contribute to building new IPs, frameworks, digital tools, and accelerators that fuel future growth.

Requirements

  • B.E./B.Tech plus MBA (Strategy, Operations, Marketing, or Technology Management).
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or pursuit management, ideally in consulting or digital transformation environments.
  • Strong domain exposure across Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, Finance, and enterprise processes.
  • Hands-on understanding of data engineering, AI/ML, cloud transformation, and modern product/platform engineering.
  • Familiarity with commercial models (T&M, Fixed Price, Outcome-based) and global delivery constructs.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical thinking, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience with CPG, Retail, Manufacturing, BFSI, or Enterprise Tech industries is a strong advantage also good with solutioning, complete ownership of accounts, Ability to work on sales reporting & sharp MS excel skills.

Exposure to Salesforce CRM is a plus.
