About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) with 01 year of experience to play a key role in our sales and go-to-market efforts. This role sits at the very start of the sales funnel and is critical to driving revenue growth and market expansion.

This role is ideal for early-career professionals or fresh graduates who want a strong start in sales, GTM, or business growth, or who aspire to build something of their own in the future. It requires resilience, hard work, adaptability, and the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Research: Conduct market research based on the company's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and identify potential clients using internal tools and LinkedIn. Build and maintain a structured database of prospects for efficient outreach.
  • Prospect Engagement: Create personalized and customized pitches for potential customers. Reach out via LinkedIn, email, and phone to initiate conversations and set up in-depth discussions about Zintlr's solutions. Qualify leads based on needs, intent, and suitability, and schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Follow-up & Relationship Management: Consistently follow up with prospects to nurture relationships, handle objections, and keep conversations moving forward. Contribute to outreach strategies and marketing campaigns wherever required.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain clean, accurate, and up-to-date records in CRM tools. Prepare and share regular reports on lead generation and outreach activities.
  • Team Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies. Actively share ideas on reaching customers through different channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 01 year of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (freshers are welcome).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to initiate and sustain conversations confidently.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with potential customers and maintain professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic sales principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and research skills.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and perform in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Prior exposure to B2B sales, SaaS, or customer service roles.
  • Strong analytical thinking and curiosity about products and markets.
