Job Description

The role

We are looking for a sharp, highly organised, and people-oriented Operations & Growth Associate to be the backbone of everything that keeps Ignite the Spark running smoothly. You will work directly with Alpa, own the operations and sales pipeline, and free her up to focus entirely on coaching, facilitation, and thought leadership.

This is not a back-office job. You will be client-facing, strategic, and deeply embedded in the growth of the business. What you will own

Sales pipeline & business development

•     Track and manage all leads and enquiries in a simple CRM

•     Send follow-up messages and proposals after discovery calls (from pre-approved templates)

•     Chase decisions, coordinate with prospective clients, and ensure no lead goes cold

•     Research and identify new corporate clients, speaking opportunities, and partnerships

Client operations & program logistics

•     Own onboarding for all new coaching clients and cohort participants

•     Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and Calendly hygiene

•     Handle all program logistics — registrations, Zoom links, materials, reminders

•     Coordinate invoicing, payment follow-ups, and receipts

Content & social media coordination

•     Brief the social media agency weekly based on a 5-minute voice note from Alpa

•     Review and approve content before it goes live

•     Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent publishing

•     Respond to comments, DMs, and enquiries on social platforms

Systems & admin

•     Be the first filter for all WhatsApp, email, and general enquiries

•     Build and maintain SOPs for recurring processes

•     Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and logistics for events and workshops

Who you are

•     2–3 years of experience in operations, business development, client servicing, or a similar role

•     Extremely organised — you finish things, follow up without being asked, and nothing falls through the cracks

•     Confident communicator — comfortable speaking with senior professionals and corporate clients

•     Tech-savvy — comfortable with Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, Zoom, Calendly, and picking up new tools quickly

•     High emotional intelligence — you understand the world of coaching, personal growth, or L&D (a genuine interest is a big plus)

•     Entrepreneurial mindset — you think like an owner, not just an executor

•     Based in Mumbai and available full-time, in-person

Bonus if you have

•     Experience working with a founder, coach, or in a boutique consulting or training firm

•     Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach or B2B sales support

•     An eye for design or content (Canva, basic video editing)
