Business Development Manager (Internally mapped as Business Development Executive)

Package Offered: Upto 10 LPA (Inclusive of fixed and variable)

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Gurugram

Most conversations do not convert because of poor follow-ups, unstructured pitching, or lack of persistence.

This role exists to ensure that:

  • Every owner interaction is thoughtful and structured
  • Every opportunity is tracked and progressed
  • Every conversation contributes to a growing, high-quality pipeline

If the Business Development Executive is strong, the pipeline builds consistently and deals move forward predictably.

If the Business Development Executive is weak, conversations drop, follow-ups break, and growth slows.

Your mandate is clear

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of hotel owner conversations
  • Drive consistent outreach and field meetings
  • Run structured, insight-driven conversations (not random pitching)
  • Capture feedback and identify deal blockers
  • Ensure disciplined follow-ups and deal progression
  • Maintain clean and reliable pipeline data

This is not a coordination role.

It is a field-driven, execution-heavy, ownership role with direct impact on business growth.

What you will be responsible for

Drive Outreach & Build Pipeline

  • Identify and reach out to hotel owners in assigned markets
  • Build a consistent pipeline of active conversations
  • Ensure regular addition of new leads
  • Maintain strong meeting cadence across weeks
  • Avoid pipeline gaps due to inconsistent outreach

Run Structured Owner Conversations

  • Understand owner context, asset, and expectations before pitching
  • Follow a clear conversation flow (context need solution)
  • Communicate value proposition clearly and logically
  • Avoid random or premature pitching
  • Build credibility and trust during discussions

Capture Insights & Objections

  • Document owner feedback and objections accurately
  • Identify common patterns across conversations
  • Share insights to improve pitch and strategy
  • Maintain high-quality data for reviews and coaching
  • Convert conversations into actionable learning

Drive Follow-ups & Deal Movement

  • Ensure timely and consistent follow-ups for every opportunity
  • Track next steps clearly for all leads
  • Push conversations towards progression (meeting negotiation closure)
  • Avoid stagnation or drop-offs in the pipeline
  • Maintain ownership till clear outcome

Maintain CRM & Process Discipline

  • Update CRM after every interaction
  • Maintain accurate deal stages and movement visibility
  • Ensure no lead is lost due to poor tracking
  • Follow defined BD processes and playbooks
  • Enable clean pipeline reviews and forecasting

Operate with High Energy in Field

  • Travel across assigned locations for meetings (1015 days/month)
  • Maintain consistency in effort across multiple meetings daily
  • Handle rejection without drop in energy
  • Stay proactive and responsive in all interactions
  • Demonstrate strong field hustle and ownership

  • Consistent outreach and meeting cadence
  • Strong and well-distributed pipeline across stages
  • High-quality, structured owner conversations
  • Clean and reliable CRM data for reviews
