Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Business Development & Marketing Manager to own the end-to-end growth engine from creating a strong lead pipeline to converting opportunities into new business.
This role requires a balance of strategy + execution. The person will design lead generation strategies, run outreach campaigns, manage the sales funnel, and actively work on closures, while closely partnering with the Business Head.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation Strategy & Execution
Own the lead generation strategy across channels: LinkedIn, email campaigns, calling, referrals, partnerships, events, and industry platforms
Build a consistent and predictable lead pipeline
Define target segments, ICPs (ideal customer profiles), and account lists
Set up structured lead sourcing processes and cadence for outreach
Personally handle high-value prospecting and key accounts
2. Business Development & Closures
Drive the full sales cycle:
First connect discovery proposal negotiation closure
Qualify leads based on fitment, budget, authority, and timelines
Lead client conversations and business requirement discovery
Work with Business Head on pricing strategy, proposals, and deal structuring
Own follow-ups and conversion of warm and hot leads
Build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline
3. Marketing & Growth Initiatives
Plan and execute B2B marketing initiatives focused on lead generation
Work with design/content teams on:
Sales decks
Case studies
Website content
Emailers and outreach creatives
Drive LinkedIn presence and thought leadership (personal + company)
Support event, conference, and partnership-driven lead generation
Track ROI of marketing campaigns and continuously improve performance
4. Market Research & Growth Strategy
Identify new markets, industries, and geographies for expansion
Track competitor positioning and pricing
Gather market intelligence and client insights
Support Business Head in defining growth strategy and revenue plans
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients
5. Process, Reporting & Funnel Management
Set up and manage CRM / lead tracking system
Track:
1)Leads generated
2)Qualified opportunities
3)Conversion ratios
4)Deal pipeline value
5)Closures
Maintain clean data and clear reporting
Share weekly/monthly growth dashboards with leadership
Coordinate with operations and delivery teams post-closure for smooth handover
6. Team & Stakeholder Coordination
Guide junior BD/marketing executives (if any)
Define outreach templates, follow-up cadence, and best practices
Experience
610 years of experience in:
oBusiness Development
oB2B Sales
oGrowth / Marketing
Experience in services/BPO/logistics/IT servicespreferred
Proven track record in lead generation and closures
Skills
Strong client-facing and negotiation skills
Structured thinking around sales funnel and conversion
Comfortable with outbound sales and cold outreach
Strong proposal and pitch creation skills
Working knowledge of CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email tools
Ability to analyse funnel performance and optimise conversion
