Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive lead generation and client acquisition for our US-based accounting and bookkeeping services. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, experience in international sales, and the ability to build strong relationships with prospective clients through cold calling, bulk emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
This role will operate during US business hours and will be based in our Ahmedabad office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Conduct cold calls to potential clients in the US market.
Execute bulk email campaigns and follow-up sequences.
Perform LinkedIn outreach, connection building, and message automation (where applicable).
Generate qualified leads for accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and CFO support services.
2. Client Engagement & Follow-up
Identify client needs and articulate how our services can address them.
Schedule discovery calls
Build a sales pipeline using CRM and maintain accurate records.
Nurture prospects through consistent follow-up and engagement.
3. Market Research & Strategy
Understand market trends, competitor offerings, and client expectations in the US accounting domain.
Suggest improvements in sales scripts, email templates, and outreach strategies.
Work closely with the management team to refine business development goals.
4. Reporting & Performance Tracking
Prepare weekly and monthly BD performance reports.
Track KPIs such as calls made, leads generated, conversions, email open rate, etc.
Achieve individual and team sales targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher (preferred: BBA, MBA, Commerce background).
25 years of experience in international BD / US outbound sales.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Experience with cold calling, email automation tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM software.
Strong understanding of lead generation techniques and sales funnels.
Prior experience in the accounting / financial services industry is an added advantage.
