Role OverviewUrban Designs is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth by generating high-quality leads, converting prospects into clients, and developing strong relationships with architects, builders, and premium customers. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the interior design / constructions / real estate services domain.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets
- Identify new business opportunities in interior design, turnkey projects, residential & commercial segments
- Generate leads through referrals, networking, partnerships, and field sales activities
- Build relationships with builders, architects, real estate consultants, and corporate clients
- Conduct client meetings, understand requirements, and coordinate with design teams for proposals
- Prepare quotations, presentations, and closing negotiations with clients
- Ensure timely follow-up, pipeline management, and deal closure
- Maintain CRM records and generate weekly/monthly performance reports
- Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to enhance customer acquisition
- Lead and guide the sales team for achieving regional and monthly targets
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of interior industry sales cycles, BOQ, costing, and execution flow
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong presentation skills and professionalism in client handling
- Ability to achieve targets and manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Must be confident in closing high-value interior projects
Qualification- Graduation (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
- Must have relevant field sales experience (interior design/real estate/construction services)
Preferred Candidate Profile- Proven experience closing interior projects (residential + commercial)
- Strong connections in Real estate/builders/architect ecosystem
- Self-driven, result-oriented, and leadership qualities.
