About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to lead the college's growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving admissions, building strong institutional partnerships, promoting the brand, and increasing the overall revenue and visibility of the college. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in educational marketing, sales, and business operations within the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Admissions & Enrolment Management

  • Plan, execute, and monitor annual student admission targets.
  • Develop and implement admission strategies to attract high-quality students.
  • Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to streamline the admission process.

2. Marketing & Branding

  • Design and execute marketing campaigns (online and offline) to promote the college's programs.
  • Build the institution's brand visibility through digital marketing, PR, events, and media engagement.
  • Identify new markets and student segments for targeted outreach.

3. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, coaching centers, consultants, and corporate organizations for tie-ups and student referrals.
  • Initiate collaborations with industries for internships, placements, and skill development programs.
  • Explore international and national student recruitment channels.

4. Revenue Growth & Strategy

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve financial and enrollment goals.
  • Monitor performance metrics and report on ROI of marketing and business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for new revenue streams and expansion of academic programs.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and mentor the marketing and admission teams to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with senior management on strategic decisions and long-term institutional goals.
  • Maintain alignment between marketing, admissions, and academic departments.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in education sector business development (preferably in engineering or higher education institutions).
  • Strong understanding of admissions cycle, education marketing, and brand positioning.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in CRM, digital marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage budgets, teams, and multiple stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Background:

  • Candidates from college / university marketing or admissions leadership roles.
  • Experience in corporate sales or business growth within education services or training sectors.
  • Strong industry and institutional network.
