Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive enterprise software sales, manage government bids, and lead pre-sales activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B software sales, tender management, and solution-based selling to enterprise and government clients.
Requirements
- 57 years of proven experience in enterprise software (B2B) sales.
- Strong background in government tendering, bid management, and GeM portal bidding.
- Experience in pre-sales requirement analysis, RFP responses, and product demonstrations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for enterprise-grade software solutions.
- Lead bid management and tender submissions for government software projects, including participation via the GeM portal.
- Conduct requirement analysis, coordinate with technical teams, and prepare RFP/RFI responses.
- Deliver software product demonstrations and presentations to enterprise and government stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in public and private sector organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, pre-sales, delivery) to ensure smooth deal closure and handover.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging government IT opportunities.
