Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in New Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the solar industry and a proven track record in managing solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the solar sector.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of solar projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and timelines.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, negotiating contracts and terms with clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure project feasibility and success.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and project status to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in business development within the solar industry.
- Strong understanding of solar technologies and project management processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
