Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Manager to drive the global Finished Dosage Form (FDF) business with a strong focus on emerging markets. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing end-to-end customer engagement, and ensuring smooth sales operations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities for Finished Goods in emerging and regulated markets.
Manage the full customer lifecycle: inquiry handling, quotation preparation, sample dispatch, order processing, and receivables follow-up.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and lead generation through digital platforms, networking, and international events.
Coordinate with RA, QA, QC, Accounts, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of business transactions.
Prepare and share price quotations with customers, including lead times, payment terms, and logistics planning.
Monitor customer credit exposure, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance with approved credit terms.
Coordinate monthly sales forecasts, dispatch planning, and revenue projections.
Travel domestically and internationally for client meetings, trade shows, and market expansion activities.
Develop export business for Finished Goods across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
Identify and manage distributors, agents, and institutional buyers; build and maintain strong commercial relationships.
Negotiate payment terms, prepare quotations, and ensure timely sample delivery and order fulfilment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Administration.
Minimum 5 years of international business development experience in Finished Goods (Pharma preferred).
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, credit management, and global logistics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
