Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in
digital marketing sales. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in lead generation,
client acquisition, proposal creation, and deal closure through platforms such as LinkedIn,
Upwork, Fiverr, and other B2B channels.
The candidate will be responsible for generating qualified leads, converting them into clients,
and managing the complete onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation Outreach
- Generate high-quality leads through LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, email
- marketing, and networking
- Source clients from Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and other bidding platforms
- Identify businesses needing digital marketing services
- Sales Client Conversion
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements
- Pitch services like SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Website Development
- Branding
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Close deals and achieve monthly revenue targets
- Client Onboarding Coordination
- Manage complete onboarding after deal closure
- Coordinate with internal teams (SEO, Marketing, Ads, Design Development)
- Ensure smooth project handover and clear scope communication
- Relationship Management
- Build long-term client relationships
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services
- Maintain accurate lead and client data in CRM
- Reporting Performance
- Maintain daily and weekly sales reports
- Track conversions, revenue, and sales pipeline
- Meet assigned KPIs and revenue targets
Required Skills Expertise
- 5+ years of Business Development experience in a Digital Marketing Agency
- Expertise in LinkedIn outreach and B2B lead generation
- Experience using Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and bidding portals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing services and pricing
Technical Sales Skills
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Social Media Marketing Web Development
- Proposal creation and pricing negotiation
- CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, TeleCRM, etc.)
- Sales funnel and pipeline management
- Experience handling both international and domestic clients
- Digital marketing agency background (Mandatory)
