We're now looking for a Business Development Manager who can sell ideas, build trust, and close dealswithout needing a script.

Role Overview

As our Business Development Manager, you'll be the bridge between sharp strategy and signed contracts. This is an on-ground, people-facing roleperfect for someone who enjoys meetings, presentations, and real conversations (yes, the kind that happen outside Zoom).

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition for digital marketing and advertising services
  • Identify, pitch, and close opportunities across brands, startups, and enterprises
  • Visit clients regularly for meetings, presentations, and relationship building
  • Travel for client meetings and business development activities as required
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships (before and after the deal is signed)
  • Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and presentations that actually get approved
  • Collaborate with strategy, creative, and media teams to craft winning solutions
  • Track leads, pipelines, and performance through structured reporting
  • Stay updated on digital trends, platforms, and emerging media opportunities

What We're Looking For

  • 34 years of experience in Business Development
  • (Digital Media/Creative Sales or Advertising Agency background is preferred although not mandatory)
  • Post Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or related fields
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using Generative AI tools to improve productivity and pitches
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentable, confident, and professional (you'll represent Salt in client rooms)
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business requirements
  • Preference for candidates who reside closer to Malad or are comfortable travelling to office on all working days
