Role Description The Business Development Manager will drive sales growth and expand the customer base for R K Marble's premium marble and granite products. This full-time, on-site role is based in Jaipur and involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, developers, contractors, and corporate clients, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. The role includes developing and executing business development plans, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely order closure and customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and logistics teams to align business strategies, gather market insights, and support promotional activities and client visits to company facilities. Regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity will be expected.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development, sales, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to identify market opportunities, conduct competitor analysis, and develop growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis.
  • Experience in building materials, marble, granite, or related construction/real estate sectors is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, travel to client locations as required, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, proactive approach, and commitment to ethical, transparent business practices.
