Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our client base, managing apprenticeship programs, and fostering long-term partnerships with existing clients. The role is sales-driven with a strong focus on client acquisition, net additions, and apprenticeship engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Sales Development

o Identify and acquire new clients across assigned regions.

o Drive net client addition and contribute to revenue growth through new business.

o Understand client requirements and offer suitable workforce and apprenticeship solutions.

Client Relationship Management

o Regularly connect with existing clients to understand business needs and ensure satisfaction.

o Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

o Act as the single point of contact for all client queries and escalations.

Apprenticeship Engagement

o Execute and manage apprenticeship programs under NAPS/NATS.

o Educate clients about the benefits and structure of apprenticeship schemes.

o Ensure proper documentation and compliance for apprenticeship onboarding.

Market Research & Strategy

o Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities.

o Stay updated on apprenticeship policies, government initiatives, and industry trends.

o Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and pricing models.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Business Development / Sales, preferably in staffing, HR services, or apprenticeships.

Strong understanding of Apprenticeship Schemes (NAPS/NATS) and related processes.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
