We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager with expertise and experience in Computational Chemistry andMaterial Science domain knowledge. This role bridges technical proficiency with strategic outreachpromoting our flagship PRinS3 platform, nurturing client relationships, and expanding our footprint across both academic and commercial sectors.

We collaborate closely with the pharma, materials, chemical, and energy industries to accelerate their R&D through AI/ML, computational modelling, and simulations.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership and manage the business development and pre-sales teams.
  • Generate business opportunities with a quarterly target in India and Europe and lead scientific and business presentations, product demos, and workshops for industries that have active R&D in Material Science customers.
  • Provide scientific support and consultation for clients across pharma, biotech, FMCG, and academic institutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars as a subject-matter expert and brand ambassador.
  • Manage customer feedback and objections professionally, building credibility and trust.
  • Engage in cutting-edge scientific research to continuously develop your personal expertise and establish best practices for customers.
  • Create and update educational content for tutorials, workshops, and online materials across all research areas.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, application scientists, software developers, and the Business Development team to understand and communicate new tool functionalities.
  • Explore and provide feedback on new software features.
  • Enhance the customer journey by providing technical support and understanding customer needs during pre-sale activities.
  • Develop impactful presentations and deliver dynamic demonstrations of the PRinS3 platform, addressing customer challenges and differentiating our offerings from the competition.
  • Manage customer inquiries and objections professionally, establishing credibility and trust.

What You Should Have

  • M.Sc./PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Bioinformatics.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Scientific Business Development or a closely related field, with a proven track record of engaging with stakeholders in the life sciences or materials science sectors.
  • Experience in in silico modeling, AI/ML, chemical informatics, and materials modeling.
  • Background in teaching or scientific communication is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and workshops
