Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive student acquisition and revenue growth in the Ratnagiri region. The role involves regular visits to medical colleges, building and managing Student Ambassador networks, generating qualified leads, conducting product presentations, and converting prospects into paid users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit assigned medical colleges and institutions on a regular basis to create awareness about PrepLadder products and offerings.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and manage Student Ambassadors across colleges.
  • Build strong relationships with students, interns, faculty members, and key campus stakeholders.
  • Conduct seminars, classroom activities, and promotional events to generate leads.
  • Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to conversion.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, conversions, and field activities in CRM systems.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and student feedback to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and regional teams to execute on-ground campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand visibility and engagement across assigned colleges.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • 1–5 years of experience in field sales, business development, education sales, or EdTech sales.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and achieve sales targets.
  • Comfortable with extensive field travel and college visits.
  • Self-driven, energetic, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
