Purpose of the role:
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients, and driving sales of precast concrete products and/or construction equipment. The role requires strong market knowledge, client-handling skills, and coordination with technical and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new leads in precast concrete, infrastructure, industrial, and construction projects.
Develop relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, EPC companies, and government bodies.
Promote precast products / construction equipment and explain technical advantages to clients.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Conduct market research to identify upcoming projects and tenders.
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and follow up consistently.
Build long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.
Assist in contract negotiations and order finalization.
Support project execution teams during order handover.
Maintain CRM records and sales reports.
Provide regular updates on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback.
Qualification:
510 years of experience in precast concrete, construction equipment, building materials, or B2B construction sales.
Experience dealing with contractors, consultants, and project owners preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Basic understanding of precast systems, construction equipment, or project workflows.
Ability to read basic drawings/specifications (preferred).
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations.
