Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition and account growth for our IT staffing services across the Indian market. You will be the first point of contact for new business relationships — identifying prospects, pitching our staffing capabilities, and owning the full sales cycle from outreach to signed agreements.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients — including GCCs (Global Capability Centres), mid-to-large IT services companies, product firms, and BPOs — for IT staffing and contract hiring solutions.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: cold outreach, discovery calls, solution presentations, commercial negotiations, and MSA/contract closures.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, LinkedIn, industry networks, and referral channels.
- Develop and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat business, account expansion, and referrals.
- Work closely with the recruitment and delivery team to ensure a strong talent supply chain aligned to client demand.
- Understand client workforce requirements, tech stack needs, and hiring timelines to position Odyssey Global staffing solutions effectively.
- Negotiate commercial terms including rate cards, payment terms, and SLAs in line with company pricing strategy.
- Collaborate with leadership to define market entry strategies for new geographies and verticals within India.
- Represent Odyssey Global at industry events, job fairs, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Track and report weekly/monthly business development metrics — leads, conversion rates, revenue pipeline, and closed deals.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of proven experience in IT staffing sales or business development within the Indian market.
- Demonstrated track record of independently onboarding and managing clients for IT contract staffing, permanent placement, or RPO services.
- Strong understanding of the Indian IT ecosystem — GCCs, captive centres, product startups, and IT services companies.
- Experience in end-to-end B2B sales — from prospecting to contract signing.
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms (Zoho / HubSpot / Salesforce), and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; regional language proficiency is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working with an international staffing firm (Canada, US, or UK-origin) with Indian delivery operations.
- Existing network of HR leaders, Talent Acquisition heads, or Procurement contacts at GCCs or IT firms in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, or Chennai.
- Exposure to VMS/ATS platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, or Workday.
- Understanding of C2C / W2 engagement models and contractor compliance frameworks.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Sales or Marketing.

Work Location & Travel
