Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong track record in acquiring Direct Clients and Tier-1 Vendors in the US IT Staffing industry. The ideal candidate should have deep market knowledge, strong relationships, and the ability to independently drive revenue growth by onboarding new accounts and expanding existing ones.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Identify, target, and acquire Direct Clients and Tier-1 Vendors / MSPs in the US market
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities
- Own the full sales lifecycle: lead generation → client onboarding → account growth
- Drive consistent revenue growth and meet/exceed monthly & quarterly targets
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and vendor managers
- Act as the primary point of contact for client engagements
- Ensure high client satisfaction and long-term partnerships
Account Expansion
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Increase wallet share by expanding into new business units or geographies
- Maintain a strong pipeline of active requirements
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay updated on US staffing trends, hiring patterns, and competitor activities
- Provide insights to leadership on market opportunities and challenges
- Develop differentiated value propositions to win new clients
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure timely and quality submissions
- Align delivery strategies with client expectations and SLAs
- Ensure quick turnaround time and high submission-to-placement ratios
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven experience in bringing Direct Clients and/or Tier-1 Vendors (MSPs)
- Strong network of US-based clients, vendor managers, and decision-makers
- Demonstrated success in new client acquisition and revenue generation
- In-depth understanding of US IT Staffing business models (W2, C2C, 1099)
- Familiarity with VMS/MSP platforms (e.g., Beeline, Fieldglass, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in US time zones
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Fortune 500 clients or large system integrators
- Strong expertise in hiring across technologies like Java, Cloud, Data, DevOps, ERP
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools
- Ability to build and lead a high-performing sales pipeline independently
