Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate and convert leads through online bidding portals like Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions.
- Proposal Writing & Follow-ups: Write compelling proposals, manage follow-ups, and negotiate terms to close deals.
- Team Coordination: Handle and coordinate a team of business development professionals to ensure project success.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to drive growth.
- Client Communication: Serve as the communication link between the development team and clients, ensuring clarity and alignment on project requirements.
- Market Analysis: Proactively assess, clarify, and validate clients needs on an ongoing basis.
Job Specification
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience as a Business Developer in the IT industry. Candidates with 6 months of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Technical Background: Preferably from an IT background with knowledge of popular web technologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and writing skills are a must.
- Client Handling: Experience in managing international clients.
- Sales & Marketing: Strong analytical, sales, and marketing fundamentals with good sales negotiation skills.
