Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Conducting online marketing research on the new business leads.
- Reach out to prospects via cold calls, emails, social media, and referrals.
- Developing business from prospecting new businesses, following up on marketing leads, as well as expanding business from the company's existing client base.
- Set up appointments and meetings with potential clients and present IT security audits.
- Explain the features and benefits of vulnerability assessment and IT Infrastructure audits.
- Negotiate prices and contracts and close deals.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and provide after-sales support.
- Attend trade shows, seminars, webinars, and other events to promote IT security solutions.
- Update CRM system with sales activities and customer information.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
- Collaborate with team members and managers to achieve sales goals.
Skills and Experience
- This candidate will have previous field sales experience of 3 years into direct field corporate B2B technology sales only.
- Should be able to use technology tools effectively once training is provided.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation.
- Proven record for managing sales for a technology product and service company.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- A master's in marketing or sales would be desired but not essential.
