Job Description :
As a Business Development Manager at Kermis Events, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for event management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business leads through various channels including networking, cold calling, and online research.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored event solutions that align with their objectives and budgets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Collaborate with the internal event planning team to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience of 1+ year in business development, sales, or event execution, in the event management industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
