Role Description

The Senior Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune City. In this role, you will lead strategic business growth initiatives, identify and secure key partnerships, and develop opportunities to drive revenue. Day-to-day responsibilities involve identifying new business prospects, building relationships with clients, conducting market research, creating proposals, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to strategy discussions, and act as an ambassador for Jobizo in the healthcare hiring ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end business development for the Pune market
  • Identify, target, and onboard hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, product, marketing) to ensure seamless client experience
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and provide strategic insights
  • Represent Jobizo in industry meetings, events, and networking forums

Key Requirements

  • 48 years of experience in Business Development / Sales
  • Candidates must have either:
  1. Prior experience in the healthcare industry (hospitals, healthcare staffing, health tech, etc.) or
  2. Experience in selling prepaid SaaS / subscription-based products
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
