The team is dedicated to delivering reliable innovation and superior client support across the energy industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time Business Development Manager role based on-site in Mumbai. The role involves identifying and creating new business opportunities in the Instrumentation, Automation, Monitoring, and Control System solutions across the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Marine industries, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and presenting tailored solutions to meet customer needs. The Business Development Manager will also oversee client interactions, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service. The role requires staying updated on market trends, attending industry events, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the energy or oilfield services industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • MBA (Marketing) preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing of Instrumentation and Automation products.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Marine, Offshore, Power, or Process Industries preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for client relationship management and contract negotiation.
  • Knowledge of drilling equipment, downhole tools, artificial lift systems, and completion technologies is desirable.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for developing strategies and optimizing services for clients.
  • Proficiency in market research and understanding industry trends and customer needs to identify opportunities.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events, as and when required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
