Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM) – IT Automation, ITSM, Monitoring, and IT Asset Management (ITAM) Tools.

Location: Delhi,

Experience required: 4-8 years in IT Infrastructure Services.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving sales of IT automation solutions, ITSM tools, monitoring tools, and IT asset management (ITAM) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of IT infrastructure services, automation platforms, and enterprise IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling software solutions to IT teams and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and engage with potential clients to promote automation tools, ITSM platforms, monitoring solutions, and ITAM software.
  • Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop sales strategies to position the company's offerings as essential IT solutions.

Client Engagement & Solution Selling

  • Work closely with IT Heads, CIOs, and IT Operations teams to understand their challenges and propose automation solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept sessions, and consultative discussions.
  • Customize solution presentations based on client infrastructure and IT management needs.

Market and Competitive Analysis

  • Stay updated with IT automation trends, ITSM best practices, and IT monitoring advancements.
  • Analyze competitor offerings to differentiate the company's solutions.
  • Provide insights on customer pain points and recommend enhancements to product teams.

Revenue and Pipeline Management

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for IT automation, ITSM, monitoring, and ITAM solutions.
  • Maintain a structured sales pipeline and update CRM tools regularly.
  • Work collaboratively with pre-sales and technical teams for client engagements.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Four to five years of experience in selling IT automation, ITSM, monitoring, or ITAM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and enterprise IT service management.
  • Experience working with tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, Freshservice, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to position automation as a value-driven investment for IT operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, with a passion for technology-driven solutions.
