About The Role

R Systems is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Consultant to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow development, implementation, and ITSM modules, along with experience in leading ServiceNow projects.

This role will be instrumental in streamlining IT service management processes and delivering efficient ServiceNow solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow Development & Implementation :
  • Design, develop, customize, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
  • Develop custom workflows, integrations, and enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
  • ITSM Module Management :

Manage And Optimize ITSM Modules, Including

  • Incident Management
  • Problem Management
  • Change Management
  • Service Catalog
  • Ensure seamless functionality and continuous improvements across ITSM processes.
  • Project Leadership :
  • Lead ServiceNow implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects from initiation to completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and convert them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Support :
  • Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to align ServiceNow solutions with organizational goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on ServiceNow development and implementation best practices.
  • Deliver end-user training and ongoing support for ServiceNow functionalities.
  • Troubleshooting & System Maintenance :
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Perform regular system health checks, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize platform efficiency.
  • Documentation & Continuous Improvement :
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, customizations, and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow capabilities, trends, and best practices to enhance service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
  • Proven expertise as a ServiceNow Developer / ServiceNow Lead.
  • Strong experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, etc.
  • Hands-on experience leading ServiceNow implementation projects.
  • Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML for ServiceNow customization.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • ITIL certification is an added advantage.
