Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business development activities for Home Automation Segment.
- Conduct the need analysis, customer profiling, and persona mapping to identify client-specific automation opportunities.
· Build, develop, and manage strong client relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), homebuilders, architects, interior designers, and residential project promoters.
· Manage the full business development cycle—from lead generation and pitching to negotiation, closure, and post-sales coordination.
- Identify and pursue new growth avenues via retail channels, system integrators, interior designers, builders, architects, and allied industry networks.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors and ecosystem collaborators.
- Mentor and guide BDEs/Assistant Managers in day-to-day operations, planning, and goal alignment.
- Coordinate closely with pre-sales, sales, and post-sales (support & service) teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and project execution.
- Represent IOTIQ at exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings with a focus on positioning the brand and exploring revenue opportunities.
- Monitor competitor landscape, market shifts, and technology advancements to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Regularly report on business metrics, sales performance, and customer insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Background
- Bachelor's Degree (BBA / B.Sc. / Engineering) with 6 Years Experience or an MBA with 4 Years Experience preferred.
- Proven Experience in B2C, B2B, or hybrid business development roles.
- Prior experience in sectors such as Home Automation, Consumer Electronics, Smart Devices, Interior Design, or IoT-driven businesses.
- Hands-on experience with both hardware and software product portfolios.
Skills & Traits
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and consultative selling capabilities.
- Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google Sheets, and Outlook.
- Ability to draft impactful proposals, business emails, and client presentations.
- Efficient time and team management, with a high level of personal accountability.
- Passion for smart technology, innovation, and emerging digital trends.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must own a two-wheeler with a valid Driving License and helmet.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, project discussions, and market development.
