Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing etc
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications, healthcare publishing, healthcare services, or business development
• Proven experience in client acquisition, business development, and key account management
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to prepare business proposals, commercial quotations, presentations, and professional client communications
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel for client meetings and industry events
Key Responsibilities
• Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare organizations, medical associations, and related industries
• Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Sales Strategy & Execution: Generate leads, prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and drive revenue growth through successful deal closures
• Key Account Management: Manage and grow strategic client accounts, identify opportunities for renewals, cross-selling, and upselling while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Business Planning & Reporting: Maintain sales forecasts, monitor pipeline performance, prepare account plans, and provide regular business updates to management
• Market Research & Business Insights: Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with editorial, medical, design, and operations teams to deliver high-quality scientific communication and publishing solutions
• Client Engagement: Conduct client meetings, deliver business presentations, and represent Aramuc at conferences, exhibitions, and other industry events
