As part of our rapid expansion, we are seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth initiatives, build and manage key client relationships, and lead revenue-generating strategies. This role offers significant strategic ownership, high-level client exposure, and a clear pathway into senior leadership, playing a critical role in shaping the firm's expansion trajectory.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving iFranchise's franchise expansion initiatives by identifying, engaging, and converting high-quality franchise partners, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with brands and investors. The role oversees the full sales lifecycle, from lead strategy and qualification through negotiation and deal closure.

In addition, the Business Development Manager will lead and develop a team of Business Development Associates, set performance targets, monitor outcomes, and uphold a results-driven sales culture. This position is well suited for professionals seeking structured career growth and progression into senior leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and monitor team performance
  • Conduct regular reviews, coaching, and performance feedback sessions
  • Ensure discipline in follow-ups, lead management, and conversion processes

Franchise Sales & Business Development

  • Own the end-to-end franchise sales process and personally handle key or high-value prospects
  • Guide the team on lead qualification, pitch delivery, negotiations, and closures
  • Ensure consistent execution of the franchise sales strategy
  • Maintain strong relationships with prospective franchise partners

Process, Reporting & Strategy

  • Track team KPIs, pipelines, and conversion ratios using CRM tools
  • Prepare and present sales performance reports to senior management
  • Identify gaps in team performance and implement corrective action plans
  • Coordinate with marketing to improve lead quality and sales effectiveness

Market Expansion

  • Identify and execute franchise growth opportunities in PAN India.
  • Provide market insights and competitive feedback to leadership

Who Should Apply

  • Have 2+ year of experience managing a sales team and driving revenue
  • Have proven experience leading and driving a sales team handling high-ticket sales.
  • Have a strong background in business development, franchise sales, or B2B sales

  • Are based in Bangalore or willing to work on-site
