About the role:
As a Business Development Manager at Leap Finance, you will be responsible for driving B2B partnerships and offline lead generation through channel partners, agencies, and education ecosystem intermediaries in Hyderabad/ Chennai.
The Charter for this Role Will Include:
● Identify, onboard, and manage B2B channel partners and agencies to generate education loan leads
● Build strong relationships with study-abroad consultants, immigration consultants, and education service agencies
● Drive offline and field-based partner acquisition through meetings, partner events, and local activations
● Train and enable partners on Leap Finance's loan products, processes, and value proposition
● Manage key partner accounts to ensure consistent lead flow and engagement
● Track partner performance, lead quality, and conversion metrics
● Collaborate with internal teams (sales, credit, operations, marketing) to improve lead conversions
● Represent Leap Finance at relevant industry events and networking forums
Ideal Persona Would:
● 2+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or partnerships
● Prior experience in channel partner management or lead generation
● Exposure to education loans, financial services, or study-abroad services preferred
● Strong understanding of the local education / study-abroad ecosystem (Hyderabad / Chennai)
● Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
● Comfortable with extensive fieldwork and meeting partners regularly
● Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
