Candidate Profile:
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the GEM portal.
Strong understanding of government procurement processes and tendering procedures.
Experience in handling techno-commercial bids.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (data handling, reports, etc.).
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership by proactively identifying and acquiring new clients in the government and semi-government sector
- This will be an individual contributor role, focused on a hunting approach to drive new Client acquisition.
- Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of GEM portal operations and public procurement processes
- Ability to develop new business opportunities in government departments, PSUs, and educational institutions
- Drive end-to-end sales through the GEM portal, from prospecting to closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve consistent growth targets
- Stay updated on government procurement policies, competitor activity, and market dynamics
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction
- Track, manage, and report on sales pipeline and performance metrics
