Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Management

  • Handle inbound and outbound leads (calls, WhatsApp, email) and convert them into paid admissions.
  • Conduct counselling sessions to understand students career goals and recommend suitable programs.
  • Follow a structured sales process and maintain a high lead-to-conversion ratio.
  • Track all interactions in CRM (e.g., Zoho CRM) and ensure updated data at all times.

Pipeline Building & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through disciplined lead follow-up.
  • Run structured demos, strategy calls, and product walkthroughs for prospective learners.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across training programs.

Market & Customer Insights

  • Gather feedback from learners and share insights with product and marketing teams.
  • Stay updated with competitor offerings, pricing, and market trends in the EdTech domain.

Process & Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion strategies.
  • Provide weekly sales reports, funnel updates, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with operations and training teams for smooth onboarding of enrolled students.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of proven experience in EdTech sales (B2C mandatory; B2B is an added advantage).
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with CRMs (Zoho preferred).
  • Target-driven, disciplined, and comfortable with high-velocity sales environments.
  • Ability to handle objections and close deals with confidence.
  • Good understanding of the EdTech industry and student buying behaviour.
