About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned and driven Sales Manager with 812 years of experience, preferably in startup or fast-growing environments within B2B, logistics, manufacturing, SaaS, or supply chain ecosystems.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader and business builder, not just an individual contributor. This role requires a sharp understanding of the sales funnel, hands-on ownership of revenue targets, and the ability to partner closely with leadership to drive sustainable growth, market expansion, and customer value in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive revenue targets across key segments and accounts.
- Translate business goals into clear sales strategies, quarterly plans, and execution roadmaps.
- Identify new growth opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Drive consistent pipeline creation and conversion across the sales funnel.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales executives / account managers.
- Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team.
- Conduct regular reviews, pipeline discussions, and coaching sessions.
- Build a high-performance, accountability-driven sales culture.
- Business Development & Client Management
- Manage and grow strategic and enterprise-level customer relationships.
- Lead key negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.
- Ensure strong post-sale engagement to drive retention, upsell, and cross-sell.
- Act as the escalation point for critical client issues and resolutions.
- Sales Operations, Forecasting & Reporting
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, and revenue predictability.
- Track performance against targets, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with leadership on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales planning.
- Strengthen CRM usage, reporting discipline, and data hygiene.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, operations, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment.
- Provide market and customer insights to improve offerings, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Support new product launches, pilot programs, and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to refining sales processes, playbooks, and scalable systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 812 years of experience in sales or business development roles.
- Proven experience in leading teams and consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Prior exposure to startup, high-growth, or operationally complex environments preferred.
- Experience in B2B, logistics, manufacturing, SaaS, or supply chain businesses is a strong plus.
