Role Description

As a Business Development Manager Flipkart, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic expansion on the Flipkart marketplace. You will develop and execute performance-driven strategies to enhance visibility, optimise advertising, increase conversions, and scale the overall marketplace business.

You will act as a key strategist with strong market knowledge, analytical skills, and a sharp decision-making mindset to grow the brand aggressively in the online ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Complete ownership of Flipkart seller account and marketplace performance.
  • Develop and implement revenue growth strategies for Flipkart.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize Flipkart Ads (PLA, Sponsored Products, Campaign Management).
  • Manage and monitor ROAS, ACOS, conversion rates, and overall ad performance.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, pricing strategy planning, and market research.
  • Ensure strong organic visibility through keyword optimization and listing improvements.
  • Optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, A+ content, images coordination).
  • Coordinate with internal teams (graphics, operations, warehouse, marketing) for smooth execution.
  • Forecast sales trends and plan inventory in coordination with supply chain teams.
  • Monitor account health metrics (ratings, returns, SLAs, penalties, etc.).
  • Analyze daily/weekly/monthly sales data using Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reporting dashboards).
  • Identify growth opportunities including promotions, deals, seasonal campaigns, and platform events.
  • Liaise with Flipkart account managers for business expansion opportunities.
  • Develop quarterly and monthly business plans aligned with company revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing the Flipkart marketplace.
  • Experience in electronics / automotive / consumer durable category preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Flipkart Seller Hub and advertising dashboard.
  • Proven experience in scaling revenue through ads and organic strategies.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace algorithms and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability.
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Ability to take independent decisions and drive business ownership.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field.
