Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives in the event management sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate leads for potential clients in target markets (corporate, sports, brand activations, etc.)
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Pitch event solutions to prospects through presentations, proposals, and meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, creative, logistics) to create tailored event proposals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine offerings.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to represent the company.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure smooth handover to operations team.
- Maintain CRM database and provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales/business development, preferably in the event management or hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong network in the corporate and/or social event space is a plus.
- Knowledge of event planning processes and trends is advantageous.
