Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth in the EMS sector by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring revenue and profitability targets are met. The role requires expertise in the EMS industry, strategic planning, and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the EMS sector, including ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) and CDM (Customer Design Manufacturer) verticals.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including CXOs and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, and finance) to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients and partners.
- Drive export business for electronics, mechatronics, and box-build solutions.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports to management.
Qualifications:
Experience: 15+ years in business development or sales, preferably in the EMS or related industries.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Skills:
- Proven track record in B2B sales and business development.
- Strong knowledge of EMS processes, reverse logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.
Preferred Competencies:
- Experience in international markets and export business.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies in the EMS domain.
