Position: Business Development Manager Educational Sales (B2B Colleges)

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and self-driven Business Development Manager with 13 years of proven experience in educational sales or institutional B2B sales (colleges/universities). The role demands strong relationship-building skills, proactive outreach, and the ability to consult with educational institutions to drive large-volume IT product sales.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Identify, connect, and build relationships with colleges, universities, and educational institutions across India.

Drive B2B sales through cold calling, online outreach, networking, and direct campus visits.

Conduct meetings, presentations, demos, and product discussions with decisionmakers (Deans, HODs, Purchase Teams, Management).

Maintain long-term partnerships and build NewJaisa's presence in the education segment.

Sales Execution & Deal Management

Understand client requirements and suggest suitable refurbished IT solutions.

Explain product specs, technical benefits, and value propositions tailored to institutional needs.

Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and agreements.

Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work with the sales, marketing, customer support, and product teams to create aligned strategies.

Support marketing initiatives, on-ground events, education fairs, and promotional campaigns.

Ensure accurate updates on CRM and maintain sales reports.

Sales Targets & Strategy

Achieve monthly and quarterly B2B sales targets.

Contribute to developing expansion strategies for the educational segment.

Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Marketing, or related fields (Tier 1/2 preferred).

13 years of experience in B2B educational sales, campus partnerships, or institutional business development.

Strong understanding of the college/university ecosystem.

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace; experience with CRM tools is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and customer-first mindset.
