BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER — HoReCa & Export

ABOUT ECOGREENZ

EcoGreenz by Ecologico is an Ahmedabad-based
brand specialising in compostable tableware
and takeaway packaging made from sugarcane
bagasse. Our product range covers 100+ SKUs
including plates, clamshells, meal trays,
bowls, containers, cups and cutlery.
We supply to B2B clients across the HoReCa,
catering and institutional segments and are
expanding into export markets including UAE
and GCC. We are an Associate Member of NRAI
— National Restaurant Association of India.

ROLE OVERVIEW
─────────────────────────────────
The Business Development Manager will own
and drive EcoGreenz's complete B2B revenue
function — converting existing buyer contacts
into accounts, building new relationships
across HoReCa and institutional segments,
developing distributor partnerships and
laying the groundwork for export sales.
This is a ground-floor commercial role
requiring someone with proven experience
in opening new accounts, managing client
relationships and building a sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
─────────────────────────────────
Business Development
• Convert existing buyer leads and contacts
into active paying accounts
• Identify and approach new B2B prospects
across restaurants, hotels, caterers,
cloud kitchens and event companies
• Develop and manage distributor relationships
across Gujarat — expanding Pan-India
progressively
• Build and maintain a structured sales
pipeline with regular reporting
Export Sales
• Develop initial export relationships
in UAE and GCC markets
• Coordinate with internal teams on
export documentation, sampling
and order fulfilment
• Identify and qualify international
distributors and bulk buyers
Team Building
• Hire, onboard and manage a junior
sales team as business scales
• Set individual targets, review
performance and develop team capability
• Report directly to the founder

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
─────────────────────────────────
• 6 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales
within HoReCa supply, FMCG distribution,
F&B or packaging industry
• Demonstrated track record of independently
opening new accounts and closing bulk
supply deals
• Existing network of contacts in restaurant,
hotel, catering or cloud kitchen industry
• Prior experience building or managing
a sales team
• Strong understanding of B2B sales
fundamentals — MOQ, credit terms,
bulk pricing, supply chain and logistics
• Excellent communication and
negotiation skills
• Based in Ahmedabad or willing to relocate

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
─────────────────────────────────
• Prior experience at Petpooja, Hyperpure,
Ninjacart, Metro Cash & Carry or an
FMCG HoReCa division
• Experience launching a new product
category in the B2B market
• Multi-state sales experience — particularly
Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka
• Familiarity with IndiaMart, trade shows
and institutional procurement processes
• Exposure to export sales or international
buyer management

COMPENSATION
─────────────────────────────────
• Fixed Salary: Rs.30,000 to Rs.45,000
per month based on experience
• Account Activation Bonus: Rs.500 to
Rs.1,000 per new account opened
• Monthly Revenue Incentive: 0.75% to
1.5% of B2B revenue generated
• Quarterly Performance Bonus: Rs.10,000
to Rs.20,000 on achieving targets
