The Business Development Manager – Ecommerce Solutions (ECS) is responsible for driving customer acquisition, activation, and revenue growth for DGF's cross-border eCommerce offering. The role focuses on onboarding SME exporters, D2C brands, and marketplace sellers, converting demand into recurring shipment volumes, and establishing ECS as a scalable, repeatable growth engine within DGF.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Growth & Customer Acquisition
- Acquire new SME and D2C exporters for ECS.
- Manage end‑to‑end sales: lead generation to deal closure.
- Drive early activation and repeat shipping.
Customer Onboarding & Enablement
- Guide customers through ECS onboarding and processes.
- Act as the main commercial contact during ramp‑up.
- Coordinate with Ops and CS for smooth initial shipments.
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Maintain a strong ECS sales pipeline aligned to targets.
- Track onboarding‑to‑activation conversion.
- Ensure accurate reporting and CRM hygiene.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product, Ops, Finance, and CS for service alignment.
- Support marketplace‑led opportunities.
- Provide market feedback to improve ECS.
