Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (Insurance Sales) to drive the sales and distribution of our Small Ticket Size Hospicash Insurance Product, focused on rural and urban poor households, daily wage earners, and labor workers.

The role involves field-level activation, bulk corporate tie-ups, and tele-sales support to empower our women agents network for insurance distribution.

Product: Small Ticket Size Hospicash Insurance

Location: Surat (Field + Travel Required)

Experience: 2–5 Years

CTC: As per industry standards + Performance Incentives

Field Sales & Last-Mile Activation

  • Conduct village-level seminars, camps, and awareness drives.
  • Generate direct insurance enrollments through field activities.
  • Build trust among rural and urban poor communities.
  • Coordinate with local influencers, NGOs, SHGs, and labor groups.

Bulk Sales / Corporate Partnerships

  • Identify and onboard corporate partners, MSMEs, factories, labor contractors, FPOs, and associations.
  • Close bulk insurance deals for worker groups.
  • Develop B2B channel for mass enrollment.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with corporate partners.

Agent Enablement & Tele-Sales Support

  • Train and support women agents (BC Sakhi network) for hospicash insurance sales.
  • Conduct tele-sales follow-ups for lead conversion.
  • Provide objection handling scripts and sales guidance.
  • Track agent performance and support them in closing sales.

Sales Target & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly premium targets.
  • Maintain daily reporting of field visits, seminars, and corporate meetings.
  • Track conversion ratio and renewal rates.
  • Maintain CRM and sales pipeline updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Insurance Sales / B2B Sales / Micro-insurance.
  • Experience in rural field sales preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable with field work and travel.
  • Ability to conduct seminars and public speaking sessions.
  • Basic understanding of insurance products (Hospicash preferred).
