Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong expertise in IT sales, particularly in web and mobile app development services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in lead conversion, account management, and building long-term client relationships. This role demands a deep understanding of business needs, project requirements, and the ability to drive the full sales cyclefrom prospecting to closing dealswhile also supporting and mentoring the junior sales team.

Responsibilities:

Driveend-to-end lead conversionandclient acquisitionthrough platforms likeUpwork, PPH, Guru, and LinkedIn.

Engage in high-level client communication (email, chat, video calls) to gather requirements, present service offerings, and close deals.

Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to provide accurate estimations, project scopes, and proposals.

Prepare detailed and strategicproposals, RFPs, and business documentstailored to client needs.

Maintain a strongsales pipelineand report key metrics including lead status, conversion ratio, and revenue targets.

Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients for repeat business and referrals.

Identify new business opportunities in global markets and recommend strategic plans to tap into them

Requirements:

48 years of proven experience in IT business development and sales, specifically for web and mobile app services.

Strong working knowledge of platforms like Upwork, PeoplePerHour, Guru, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Deep understanding of web and mobile technologies (frontend/backend, native & hybrid apps like React Native, Flutter).

Proven ability to manage and convert high-value leads and negotiate large contracts.

Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting, and client documentation

Educational Qualification

  • Any Graduate (M. TECH, B. TECH, BCA, MCA, MBA).
  • MBA or PG Diploma in Marketing/IT is preferred.
