Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Drive sales of copper products including recycled copper rods, cathodes, granules, alloys, and scrap.
  • Identify and onboard new customers across cable, electrical, automotive, electronics, and industrial segments.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure and repeat business.

Customer & Key Account Management

  • Build and manage relationships with OEMs, cable manufacturers, traders, and industrial buyers dealing in copper products.
  • Develop key accounts with focus on volume growth, pricing discipline, and long-term engagement.

Commercial & Pricing

  • Track LME copper prices, scrap market trends, and recycled metal premiums.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations on pricing, margins, credit terms, and contracts.

Plant & Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with plants, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely production and dispatch.
  • Address customer concerns related to quality, delivery timelines, and documentation.

Market Intelligence & Expansion

  • Monitor market and competitor activity in the copper and non-ferrous metals space.
  • Identify opportunities in new geographies, applications, and customer segments.
