Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of AI and Computer Vision solutions in manufacturing and allied sectors. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and delivering AI-powered solutions that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies to expand market presence for AI and Computer Vision solutions.
- Identify high-value opportunities in quality control, predictive maintenance, safety monitoring, and process automation.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with manufacturers, OEMs, and system integrators.
- Client Engagement & Account Management: Conduct client visits, manage key accounts, deliver demos and workshops, and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers, OEMs, and system integrators.
- Lead client engagements, including presentations, demos, and solution workshops.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to customize AI solutions for industrial applications.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Computer Vision and AI technologies.
- Track KPIs, prepare performance reports, and leverage CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline.
- Establish partnerships with technology providers and research organizations.
- Represent Citriot at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Skills & Competencies:
- Business Development & Sales: Enterprise sales, lead generation, client acquisition, account handling, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Client Engagement: Client visits, relationship management, workshops, and demos to understand client needs and propose AI solutions.
- AI & Computer Vision Knowledge: Understanding of computer vision applications (defect detection, quality control, predictive maintenance), machine learning, deep learning, and edge AI.
- Industry Knowledge: Manufacturing processes, industrial automation, smart factories, Industry 4.0, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Market research, opportunity identification, data-driven decision-making, and KPI tracking.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Presentation, demo delivery, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination.
- Tools & Platforms: CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.), data analytics tools, and basic technical tools to understand AI/ML workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineering background preferred (B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization).
- Experience deploying Computer Vision solutions in industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- Understanding of regulatory standards in manufacturing sectors.
- MBA or business-related qualification is a plus.
