About the Role
We are looking for an experienced professional from a leading payments company such as Paytm, Razorpay, PhonePe, BharatPe, Cashfree, PayU or similar fintechs. The ideal candidate must bring strong industry relationships, deep knowledge of digital payments, and the ability to drive payment integrations through established contacts.
This role will play a key part in expanding our payment infrastructure, onboarding strategic partners, and driving scalability for our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with banks, PSPs, payment gateways, and service providers.
- Leverage existing industry relationships to enable fast-track integrations and product collaborations.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiate contracts, and close partnership agreements.
- Work closely with product, tech, and operations teams to support end-to-end integration of new payment solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and upcoming opportunities within the payments ecosystem.
- Maintain strong relationships with senior industry stakeholders to unlock new revenue and integration opportunities.
- Build and execute a scalable partnership strategy to support company growth targets.
- Represent the company in industry events and networking forums to strengthen brand presence.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in Paytm, Razorpay, PhonePe, or similar payment/fintech companies.
- Proven network of decision-makers, payment leaders, banks, and fintech partners.
- Strong understanding of payment gateways, merchant onboarding, settlements, APIs, UPI, P2P flows, and related processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and partnership-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- English fluency is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
