About the Role

  • We are seeking a result-driven Business Development Manager with proven experience in the staffing and recruitment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new client acquisition, building long-term partnerships, and expanding business opportunities across permanent hiring, RPO, and global talent solutions.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of recruitment services, client engagement strategies, and the ability to convert leads into high-value staffing mandates.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition and Business Growth

  • Identify and acquire new clients requiring recruitment, staffing, or RPO services.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, LinkedIn engagement, and industry connections.

Industry-Focused Sales Strategy

  • Leverage prior experience in the staffing industry to pitch recruitment solutions effectively.
  • Understand client hiring challenges and position tailored staffing solutions accordingly.
  • Drive consultative selling by aligning services with client workforce and growth needs.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, HR Heads, and decision-makers across target organizations.
  • Act as a trusted talent partner by understanding long-term hiring roadmaps.
  • Ensure high client retention through consistent engagement and service excellence.

Proposal and Deal Closure

  • Prepare customized proposals, commercial discussions, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate terms and close recruitment and RPO mandates.
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure smooth delivery post client onboarding.

Market Intelligence and Expansion

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry hiring demands.
  • Identify new sectors and geographies for business expansion within staffing services.
  • Provide insights to leadership for strategic growth initiatives.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong experience in business development within staffing or recruitment industry
  • Proven track record of client acquisition and revenue generation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Prior experience in a staffing or recruitment consultancy is compulsory
